Its like a dream-comes-true. I can remember the time when RKC Sir told me that I could do it, and yes, I have done it...... its took a lot of passion ( and nothing else ). Thanks to DADA for supporting me all along. Infact, he was the person, who said RKC Sir that we wanted to do a project on SiGe. Earlier, RKC Sir gave us three options for our Final year project. ( its not a culture of Malaviya that Project Guides suggest Project Idea to the student, But RKC Sir is quite different from the other So-Called Profs). The options were: Qaurtus II, SiGe and one which i can't recall now. I was totally confused about those, and started a never-ending search compaign on Google. But, DADA, the one-of-his-kind figure in the whole Earth took the charge, and declared our no-but-other choice. As usual, I warned DADA that he had to lead in future too. DADA tried hard to learn the basics of electronics devices, but we couldn't find any way for DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Even RKC Sir gave us many PDF files with full of SiGe inside. but that was obviously all greeks to us. From a paper of Mr. Patri ( from IIT-D), we came to know that profile of Ge have an impact on device performance. He had taken some examples of Box and triangular profiles, and derived some made-for-fear equations.
I was totally scared about our project topic, and concluded it failure-before-start. Meanwhile, we started Study-in-Midnight classes (Not a sequal of Freedom -in-midnight in any way) for discussing our project. ( it was really an opportunity to use internet surfing@Free of cost, because DADA had taken a connection recently, which offered free surfing in night hours.) Later Goldy joined us in our Dummy-discussions. And wait, there we made one good friend too, Pillu, the DD ( DADA's Doggy), who gave first lip-to-lip kiss to Goldy. I think that it was the first of its kind experience for Goldy, which he should not expect in next coming years. ( I don't mean that Goldy will not kiss anyone, it just means that a doggy kiss,in early morning, will not be his fate always.)
